That post says it's just an IDE Detect code so could it randomly just take a bit longer? After the build was complete, I was able to boot in fine and everything. EDIT: I'm pretty sure you tried the memory in every slot as well?

I have not found a per fix, but I unplug everything on the back that's connected to the motherboard and restart my computer, and bam your in!
Reset the BIOS using the Clear CMOS jumper (see page 34 of the manual) or the back button (see page 26 of the manual), then try to boot again. It happens a lot in msi mothers and they doesnt give a satisfactory answer. Last but not least, I read over the mobo specifications and realized that it was backwards compatible. And if you have near buy computer store that sells used PC parts,go to the optical drives and see in the back of the optical drive has to be the old That and I do remmeber that I never had to do it that way when I updated the bios before from within the bios. Anyways this worked for me as well, just resetting the CMOS.

My guess is it has to do with the BIOS GUI thing, for what it's worth, since in my case it either goes ahead and boots or loads after a reboot. I still can't get past the "Please press Del or F2 to enter the UFEI BIOS setting" prompt.
So I have to do that same thing in order to get it running.
