All work and no play make Jack a dull boy, as the old saying goes. The following research and development works are of significant importance to the Academy: Science School “Laser navigation in water transport” headed by Professor Savelyev V.G., DSc. The ultimate purpose is to elaborate common standards of education and training for inland navigation in all country-members. It was the first unique national project, which combined within the framework of one educational institution three subsequent levels of continuous training: secondary vocational (support), operational and managerial.
Our students’ life is not boring since there are ample opportunities for both leasure and pleasure. Students get meals at 3 snack-bars and 2 canteens. Laser leading beacons, designed and elaborated under the supervision of Prof. Leonova O.V., DSc. you can try this out
The scientists of the Academy in collaboration with the scientists from the Technical University of Bremerhaven (Germany) tested the marine engine of “MAC” company for the analyses of nitrogen oxides emission. Participation in the work of international organizations, international conferences, seminars and symposiums In April 2015 the Academy joined the International Association «Education in Inland Navigation» (EDINNA ).
